Week 12 Bad UX Design

Image
I accidentally came across this site and everything about it yells bad design to me.  1. To begin, there is nothing telling what the site is for on the home screen. 2. I clicked on each button seen on the home screen only to not learn anything helpful about the site still. There are no good descriptions about what the different training or programs mentioned here are. It just wants you to visit another website. I did not click around more than that because I was worried about getting a virus on my computer or something but nothing about this site is clear or inspires confidence in the user.

Week 12 Good UX Design

I have some blue light-reducing glasses I wear when working or studying on the computer. Previously, I had a pair that had thicker arms and they hurt my head if worn for a while, especially if I had my headphones on listening to music. The design of these is much better with very thin arms that don't create as much pressure when wearing headphones. The design was created together with Razor that makes a lot of gaming/computer peripherals so I think the added knowledge or testing that went into them helps to make it a more comfortable design for the user.
